Savvy shoppers love Legacies Upscale Resale, our social enterprise and consignment store in Hyde Park Plaza. Legacies features high-end furniture, accessories, jewelry, rugs, art, antiques, vintage jewelry and much more – all at 50%-80% off retail prices. With 18,000 items on the floor each day, and an inventory that is always changing, many shoppers try to stop in weekly to find great deals on gently used furniture and one-of-a-kind pieces for their homes.
Staffed primarily by volunteers, Legacies’ profits are contributed to Cancer Support Community to help fund cancer support programs offered at no cost.
Volunteer at Legacies
Over 120 men and women contribute their time and talent to staff Legacies on the sales floor, behind the scenes sorting, tagging, and pricing, and even designing displays and merchandising – all to help fund Cancer Support Community’s free cancer support programs. Donations & Consignments
Because Legacies is part of the non-profit Cancer Support Community (a tax-exempt 501(c)3 organization), all donations are considered charitable tax deductions. Free pick-up is also available for donated items with a few days advance notice. When consigned items are sold, you will receive a % of the net selling price and you may claim the other % as a charitable donation.
