Health Equity in Action

Our Health Equity Committee brings together community leaders, health professionals, and CSC staff to make sure our programs truly reach and reflect the diverse communities of the tri‑state. We do this through intentional outreach, listening, and partnership – so that no one faces cancer alone.

We believe everyone deserves a fair shot at good health, especially when facing cancer. That means:

  • Treating every person with dignity and respect
  • Tackling barriers to care – financial, cultural, language, transportation, and more
  • Learning from our community and holding systems and decision‑makers accountable for more equitable care

Our committee members include clinicians, business professionals, educators, community partners, and CSC staff who care deeply about equity in cancer care and are willing to roll up their sleeves to make change happen…

This committee is leads the planning for our first annual Health Equity Summit: Advancing Dialogue and Action in Cancer Care, where we’ll bring together healthcare professionals, community leaders & patient-facing organizations for a conversation about how to close gaps & inequities in cancer care.

Who’s invited?  Local healthcare professionals, community leaders & patient-facing organizations for a conversation about how to close gaps & inequities in cancer care.  Find an invite to share HERE!

The Summit is one more way we’re turning our health‑equity values into real‑world impact for the people we serve.
